Who we are
Word of Revival Ministries is a gathering of people under the love of Jesus started in the Deep South of Cape Town. We’re a friendly, family-orientated church for anyone wanting to know Jesus and make Him known. We have been present in the Fish Hoek Valley for over 25years running church services, planting churches in south Africa and other countries ie Malawi.
Word of Revival Ministries was founded by Bishop Yusuf Chiluli Phiri in township of Masiphumelele in 2001. Yusuf Phiri is the Father of two girls Praise and Theodore and married to Rose Kalumphalinga in 2007. He got saved in 1990 from Islamic background in Malawi. He started with Assemblies of God School of Theology in Malawi, Baptist Seminary Collage and Bible Institute of South Africa. By help of God Word of Revival is the mother of many growing Pentecost churches of our time and is fastest growing ministry because of her unique and passion of the lost souls.
Our Mission
As Word of Revival ministries, we ground our reason for existing in the humble work of loving God, loving people and making disciples of Jesus. We receive this mission from the teachings and life of Jesus as seen in the Bible, particularly;
Mathews 24:14.
And this gospel of the kingdom swill be proclaimed throughout the whole world tas a testimony uto all nations, and vthen the end will come.
All our efforts as a church – our gathering, preaching, worship, plant churches and more flow from this mission.
